To all, thanks for the info, now the fun begins! And to allay (sp?) some
peoples' fears this glass will be used in a doublet, design to be worked
out later. I need to know how big a blank I can cast first;)

At a first cut it looks like I can get a blank 7-8" in diameter with
the convex curve molded in and about 1.5" center thickness. Anyone
know where I can get a 10" diameter by about 3" thick slab of
graphite?
