50's and 60'? There was nobody here then except in the cities. Ok I might
believe it was bad downtown then but not out here in the country. Now you
take off from middlefield airport and you can see a brown haze over all the
land, and it gets worse as the day goes on.

I don't think it's from factories, I think it's from cars and trucks and
construction and houses.

You don't really see it from the ground, but on a calm day if you take off
in a small plane or helicopter you REALLY notice it. And it wasn't near
that bad 10 years ago.

It's the same way south of the blue ridge mountains in NC, soon as you go
over those mountains you see this muddy brown haze hanging over the land.
Wasn't there 10 years ago.
