I don't get all the Lennon worship.  Never did.  I was never much of a fan
of his musically after he married that idiot Ono and broke up the group,
and thinking because he was once a great musician and song writer with Paul
McCartney somehow made his political insights worth something more than
yours or mine or joe blow down the street is just plain silly.

I'm sorry the guy got killed, but at least we were saved the sight of an
aging hippie running around singing give peace a chance with Ono.
