I would say so.  I've never monitored it, as I'm not much of a disney
fan anyway.  I read newsgroups which pertain to my profession and ham
radio, but I guess I could, for the cause, put up with all the Disney
Mickey Mous BS for a week, especially if I knew a bunch of us were
going to raise the level of hell about Magoo there.
Let's start Monday, and give 'em hell.
From there, rec.arts.movies, I think is the name, might be a place to
go.
Disney is totally out of touch with reality anyway.  Look at
Pocahontas as a good example.  Revisionist history.  Powhatan was not
a friendly guy to the white settlers.
He killed as many as they could, as they were nothing but intruders to
him.
Now, we object to Magoo, and they tell us that Magoo is just
nearsighted, and a bunch of other bs.
Let's make it alt.flame.disney.magoo for a week.
Everybody grab that group, and Monday, hit 'em.
Then, to raise the level of hell, let's take the picketers to Disney
studios.  How about it Californians?  Ready for a big time protest
march?
The execs at Disney studios don't care.  If there weren't more blacks,
you'd probably see a remake of Amos 'n Andy for the big screen too.
Until recently, Disney was fairly respectable, but within the last
couple of years, they've shown me they're only interested in dollar
signs.
