You have completely missed the point, the UN agreed that he was not
complying, which is why the inspectors were back in Iraq. What they didn't
agree with were all the bullshit stories about why war was needed NOW,
stories all of which have turned out to be false.

The question was not "do we need to act", the question was
"what action and when" and it's pretty clear today that no
immediate war action was required, we had plenty of time to convince the
rest of the UN that war was the only way to enforce 1441.

This has unfolded like that movie with Tom Cruise where they were arresting
people before they would commit a crime, it's just a bad way to do things.
This is bush's current excuse, "well he WOULD have blah blah"
which he sees as a valid line of logic. Ok so be it, then we need to get
rid of bush for what he WOULD do next, attack more countries and put us
further into debt. By the time bush is done we are going to have just 2
items on the federal budget, the defense department and the interest on the
national debt, we won't be able to afford anything else.
