If you can do it you will be very lucky. The bios of quite a few TP43 is 
hard coded in a way these laptops ONLY accept exact the same type and 
number of the disk they are delivered with.  And if your laptop 's HD 
is  a 40 Giga one, I'd say you  are in same bad league as I was.
Hitherto nobody has found a way around. (-:
