Is there a big demand for such a thing where you are? I never ran into or heard about any surfers who complained about the lack of email capabilties of their surfboards. ;-) Onboard computers aren't a new thing. The nice thing abbout some of the boards I have seen lately is the low power consumption and higher speeds of some of the fanless cpu's. Also some very nice DC/DC power supplies are being manufactured locally which is nice. Tad pricey but for field work those are the types of things that are required and not those cheap handheld thingies that business types seem to think are good. I've seen people try to get away with that sort of thing and fail. RY> http://www.intel.com/cd/corporate/pressroom/emea/eng/150308.htm IBM made a computer wristwatch years ago. No big demand for those either.
