LOL! Well, I'll leave your "Rush" comment alone for right now.
Actually, carrying local programming is a wonderful way to reach foriegn
audiences. I mean, which do you think would give you a better idea of what
life in a particular country was like? Listening to a program from Africa
that was intended for Americans, or listening to a program from Africa that
was intended for the local people? One of my favotire stations on shortwave
is CFRX 6070 in Toronto. They carry the programming or CFRB 1010. It's just
like listening to a local station in Toronto, becuase you ARE listening to a
local station in Toronto. What better way to learn about life in Toronto then
to listen to their traffic reports, etc.?
