Well, I did it. I got up the courage and installed a fixpak on my main
computer.
After the problem with the install on my BBS computer (win32 driver and
ibmcsflk.*) I found placing the archive directories on my C drive worked.
(C=dos, D=os/2) So far my problem with JUNO hasn't appeared.
Now if I could only solve the sound problem. B-(
I don't know what hapened. I tried installing the updated drivers from
soundblaster..it overwrote the drivers...no sound.
I re-installed my multi-media from CDROM (this is pre Fixpak26) and still
no sound. Have tried several varioations on the driver in config.sys...
DOS/DOS window audio works fine. IRQ's and addresses..no conflict...
But, anyway, I thought I'd send along that fixpak tip.
