There's two points, related, but not identical.  
If Opus makes an outbound call using a password and the other system is using 
another password or has no password, then Opus will still soldier on and do 
the mail session rather than giving up.  
If Opus receives an inbound call and the other system is using a different 
password or has no password, then Opus will log its password and the password 
offered by the other system if any.
