Built mine in '80, it has trained both of my eyes over the years because the wire test *teases* you into using one then the other the beginning, at least it did me, so now I'm only half subjective. It rounds out the TM. (chuckle). I also use a "double edged" knife for spheres. So first I test the mirror, then "I" test the mirror Then we crank up the Vavaldi a great time is had by all!
