Same question to you.  Do you use some old generic driver to make them
run in elementary fashion?  The ease of buying just any old thing fell
flat when I got a Lite-On.  There wasn't even an old one on the driver
list.

Early on Plextor was recommended by a lot of people.  Have they started
resting on their good name yet?
