subject: [OS2HW] HP DeskJet 990Cse and Epson FX-880

I've got my HP DJ990Cse printer attached to a Linux box (Fedora Core
4) running cups. The printer works perfectly on the Linux box,
including 2-sided printing in color. I've got the printer shared. On
my eCS 1.05 box I've got the printer mapped to LPT1 (net use lpt1
\\jpdsys1\hpdj990c) and the latest omni print driver installed without
issue. But it won't print! What am I doing wrong?

I've got my Epson FX-880 printer attached to a LinkSys (EPSX3) 3-port
print server (net use lpt2 \\jpdsrvr1\p1) and the latest omni print
driver installed without issue. But it won't print! What am I doing wrong?

I think whatever is wrong, is wrong for both printers. Is there
another way to access these printers?

TIA
Gene
