From: "Glenn Meadows"

I heard an interesting comment today from Shelley (who is an independent,
and typically votes across party lines, and has NO love for Kerry, at all
(she's originally from Mass, and knows Kerry from his record there, as well
as Sen. Kennedy)). She works at Vanderbilt, which is typically a very
liberal thinking University, especially the faculty and staff. Yesterday,
while taking a lunch time walk around her campus area, three of the ladies
commented that they had decided that even though the really don't like
Bush, simply because he's a Republican, that they're going to change their
vote, and vote for him. What's changed their position? Their belief that
Kerry keeps changing, and is saying only what each group wants to hear to
get elected.

I wonder how much of that sentiment is spreading around, and not picked up
by the pollsters, and might not show up until November 3?

Shelley just stayed out of the discussion, as she refuses to get into
political debates, especially at work.
