subject: Division by time?!

Hi Gerry,

You asked:

GD> GW> Nope :-). The "time" structure is an extension to
ANSI C, it's
GD> GW> specific to MS/PCDOS and is in reality the data structure used by INT
GD> GW> 21 Functions 0x2C and 0x2D.

GD> GW> The one that is standard C and holds everything is the
"tm" structure.

GD>Which compiler are your using? I can't find a struct called
"time"...

It's in the compiler the original poster of the question uses, Borland
C/C++ (both the DOS & OS/2 versions).

It came originally, I believe, from Microsoft, it's certainly in MS C
V5.1 & 6.0a.

It's also in Topspeed C.
I would expect Symantec (nee Zortec) C/C++ to have it.

Not available in Watcom C/C++ or IBM Visualage for C++.

btw, what compiler do you use? You didn't say.

George
