The problem also lies within those who decry abortion, but do not
provide any reasonable alternative to the mother.  I send a annual
check, not much but what I can afford on a Cops salary, to a home for
unwed mothers that provides not only adoption services, but training and
schooling to get mothers who choose to keep the child so they can go to
work to support their new family.
Unfortunately many decry abortion, then turn their back on the problem
of unwed mothers and leave the government to support them.
