I guess the owner was/is European, or wanted it to have a "distinct" 
name... no idea where it really comes from, but hey, I'm not picky - 
I'll ship anything, anywhere. :)

Just have to find a model that will work fully with eCS - trying to get 
info on the components inside the notebook is notoriously difficult even 
with the "top tier" suppliers like Toshiba.  They also don't guarantee 
they won't switch components without changing the model name or number, 
so what works with eCS this month might not next month...

Eurocom was unable to supply me with a demo laptop of any of their 
models so I could test-install everything - unless I wanted to drive 5 
hours to Montreal and try it in their lab...  though they had no problem 
offering me a small discount to BUY one of every model, so I could test 
them out!
