PM>> Robotics, next time I'll look for the CPU, I know

 PM>> I didn't see any Intel

 PM>> chips

 PM>> there?!?!?

RB>> Yes you did... The Flash-Rom Chip is Intel (little lighting bolt

RB>> & intel stamped on it)

PM> mmmmmm I just looked again and STILL can see any Intel chips. There is

PM> a big square NEC one not far from the TI DSP, but no sign of a lightning

PM> bolt or Intel Symbol anywhere. I remember when enquiring about the

PM> delivery delays on of the reasons qouted was because of a shortage of

PM> Flash-Rom's. Perhaps they are using NEC ones now (not that I would

PM> know what a Flash-Rom looked like, even if I fell over it :-) )

The CPU is intel and also the Flash rom

Could very well be doing what you suggest, for the new Austel Couriers.

The flash rom chip is a chip bout the size of your thumb nail.
