Seems that so far his observation has been pretty wrong except the part
that he personally didn't want to fly in that bird. Seems the 727 came
out about 64 and has been in continuous service since then, some 33
years and probably the most reliable plane in the world chasing the DC-
3. I pause to think how long it will continue in service and to my
knowledge no accidents involving the tail section except ole DB doing
the bailout.
