What I do: With a multimeter I measured the voltage between the pin 1 and 4 (of one row) on the main board (1 is Gnd and 4 is Vcc, or vice versa, I dont's remember exactly. The 5 usually is NC). I get nothing, then I look very carefully in to the electric tracks in the main board an I noted that the USB's pins are electrically connected to a two mini-fusibles. I read the conductivity of them and I get "infinity" in the multimeter. So I proceed to wire the fusible (with a very thin wire and a soldering pen). After that I measured again the pins 1 and 4, and I get this time 5vcc. Then I search in the web (I like www.alltheweb.com) the diagram of the USB standar connector (http://pinouts.ru/Slots/USB_pinout.shtml) and I proceed to attach the USB connector accordingly. And I get USB working in my old PC. I hope this helps. ---------------------------------------------------------------- This message was sent using IMP, the Internet Messaging Program. Yahoo!
