Yes, well, I noticed that John has attempted to explain why the self
testing procedures won't work on those modems.  Some people complain about
what Austel won't approve, but I'm as often amazed as to what they'll
accept.

Arthur Marsh has been trying for some years to get some sort of compliance
testing approval thing happening - I wish he and you both good luck
gainging satisfaction .. I see John now only 'works for' Diamond; quite a
demotion.
