A modem which supports the feature (I did say, 'the majority'). The
firmware in the SmartModems runs on a Motorola 68302FE20 processor, which
is a 16/32-bit 68000-family device, nothing like the Rockwell C39/C40 (an
8-bit R6502-based device) used in pure Rockwell modems. They don't emulate
all the features. Type ATI4 on an Askey, a Diamond, a Birch, an Ellcon, a
Best, a Hayes, a Microcom, .... and you'll get a few caps strings.
