| subject: | Bink 2.60 Y2K fixes |
Now available from here, a new version of BinkleyTerm with a few minor Y2K
fixes. You can file request it from here (1:261/1454) as BD2K260A.ZIP, or
by using the magic name BINKY2K. It's about 221k bytes.
Included in the ZIP is the DOS executable, as well as the patched source
code. I don't have a way to generate a Win32 or OS/2 executable, but
hopefully someone else with the appropriate compiler will make one
available.
I've been running this version for a week or so, and it seems perfectly
stable. Any problems, please let me know via netmail or Internet e-mail
(tlcoll1{at}edgebbs.com).
Just FYI, the fixes are extremely minor. If you never upgrade, there's a
good chance you'll never notice Bink v2.60's non-Y2K compliance.
