I hope not -- I don't like the way he played dirty pool with his
leadership gambit!

I'm getting sick & tired of politicians who use their positions to make
decisions for their PERSONAL goals/etc.! :P

(like Joe Pescisolido(sp?) here in Richmond, who got elected on a Reform
ticket, then switched to become a Liberal (after DEFEATING the Liberal
that was ALREADY here!)

So the situation is, to summarize, the people of the riding voted
AGAINST Liberal(in a clear majority) but they are stuck with one
ANYWAY!!! (anyway, if a Liberal was what was for here, then we HAD one!)

Sure, Joe might try to explain himself by saying that it's what he
honestly believes is the right thing for his constituents, but if he
SINCERELY believed it, then he'd have stepped down right after switching
party allegiance and given the voters, in a by-election, a chance to
either ratify OR denounce his decision in a real way!

Downright snaky, he was! :P
