I am never wanting to debate an issue or start an arguement.  I am just 
iving
you information from Disney Corporate as to why the attractions are
discontinued.  This is a "corporate" decision and not one that anyone at the
parks really have any input in.
My background is working for Disney Corporate in the Imagineering division,

comes from my division.
I agree, I have seen people throw things and spit from a number of rides, but
Space Mountain for example (more people have been injured from thrown or
dropped objects on that ride than on any other... with the matterhorn being a
close second).... neither the matterhorn or space mountain are scheduled to 
e
closed... and if the SkyWay and the PeopleMover were closed for the reason
that the Cast Members told you, then we would have to close the matterhorn,
space mountain, and many other rides (the Haunted Mansion also has had 
imilar
problems).
I again am not trying to create an arguement, I just wanted to share with you
the real reasons why we at Disney Corporate in Burbank have discontinued the
sky tram and the peoplemover.  The cast members may have their opinion, but I
am giving you the reason that was printed on the memos that were part of the
decision to close the rides.
