Windows telnet.exe is not a great BBS terminal (e.g. it doesn't do file
transfers), but it most certainly is not limited to 80x24 and the font size is
configurable (like *all* Windows console-mode programs)!

I would recommend HyperTerminal (which comes *with* Windows XP) or SyncTERM
(http://syncterm.net).

RIPterm is good if you need RIP support, but other than that, it's a pretty
average.
