I have dual layer DVD writers on both my OS2/ECS boxes. I haven't used the
dual layer because the DL blanks are
still more than twice the price of normal blanks.
That said, I do use DVDs as backup. I zip the drive that I want to back
up. Accumulate 4 or so GB and then cut a
DVD. However, I use CDRECORD to do this, not RSJ. I have never gotten RSJ
to properly close even a CD so I
quit trying.
The CD/DVD record tools work fine for me. And I prefer doing it from the
command line anyway.
