Awesome.  My workstation uses the amdgpu driver on an uefi boot which upon bootup 16 penguins show up on the top row but only if the resolution is 1080p or greater.  Hence the "Fidonet 4K" part in the tagline.

I see we are both missing the tabs (\t) when we posted our respective 'lspci' output.  The above follows MSG specs where tabs are verboten.

On this machine the boot penguins were critical and grub's uefi boot fixed that.  Also the additional ascii penguins was a nice distraction while I pondered the next move.  At the moment I seem to be idling.  Spring fever?
