Hi All,
       I have just purchased an Ellcon V.34 modem.  I thought I'd go with a
¨cheap modem for now as I will hopefully be able to afford a decent one
next ¨year when I hopefully have a job.

Anyway, I have had several problems setting it up.  I would appreciate any
¨input from anyone who already has one of these working.  (ie. your
at&v and ¨at\s commands outputs)

I can't get the stupid thing to recognize dial tone and busy signals.

I also have failed to get a decent connect to anywhere as yet.

Any help would be most appreciated.
