Or OS/2 which multitasks DOS programs _very_ well.
Back on topic, our organisation was faced with the same problem - Word or WP 
and
the overwhelming choice was WP based purely on our needs which were primarily
1)  Merge documents
2)  macros.
WP just kills Word in both creating and ease of use of merge documents and if
one is used to using merge documents in WP 5.1 for Dos, then the same DOS
compatible keystrokes are available to the user.
