Czes'c', Miles! 23 Mar 05 05:17, you -> me: Sorry if this message dupes, but I didn't find it in echo after posting. MM>>> So what sort of ordinary calculator will take a programmer's MM>>> calculation code and render an coherent answer that can be MM>>> pasted anywhere ? ARS>> Darn... DOS Navigator's calculator. :) But factorial is FACT() ARS>> there. ARS>> ^^^^ This "Darn" was typed when I thought DN's ARS>> calculator didn't support factorial. ;-) MM> It's amazing what each utility programme has hidden in it, these MM> days ... programmers often add in advanced facilities and then MM> forget to mention that they're there, it seems. Microsoft doesn't bother mentioning anything at all. :) Only obvious features that existed ten years ago even in its own programs, in ads. :) As for DOS Navigator, calculator seems to be enough-documented there. A bad feature of highlighting but not selecting to copy is not documented, though. And RITLabs called Clipboard a "pocket" in Russian. :-\ DN's help is not by any means perfect... it lacks so much - especially, the Necromancer's DOS Navigator help. Programmers usually are not help writers... :-( MM> You'd expect that in open source programmes, but not in `simple' MM> utilities like my favourite text editor, VDE. It works in plain MM> text like Notepad ... but will strip the meat out of a Word MM> document without blinking and leave the edited text ready for use MM> in Word again.... marvellous hidden talent! Do you mean it saves formatting pretty well when pasted from Word? =^..^= Good luck! +++ ...Don't use my name in echo, Stand away. For I will never hear you, But the moderator may. --- GoldED+/W32 1.1.5-040120* Origin: Delete Software Limited, Moscow, Russia.
