The Ruby power tubes in my Carvin came from the USSR... the preamp tubes were
Chinese.

I'd have to look at it again, but I think it is fixed... major PITA to
adjust, and usually not worth the trouble. They're biased cold enough at the
factory to where a little variation in the tubes isn't going to cause them to
blow up or destroy your tone. You may be able to improve the tone by bumping
it up a bit, but at "the edge", you'll have to keep an eye on the bias to
make sure it doesn't start to smoke something.
