VM>I have a laptop that is running Win95. I have always used commo
and I love VM>it, however I can't seem to get it to work properly on
my laptop.
Hello Valerie ...
Your problem possibly comes from your PC card socket manager program.
I don't believe {COMMO} is the culprit. For example:
With my Compaq Aero and Windows'95 I can run {COMMO} in a window. I
can NOT run {COMMO} from the DOS prompt when dropping to DOS or when I
boot direct to DOS.
In Windows 3.xx or in WFW there would be no problem since you are
loading all devices, programs, TSR, etc. in DOS and then you load the
Windows 3.xx or WFW graphic interface.
From my experience with this computer the PC Card Slot Manager does
not load unless Windows'95 is fully loaded.
I guess I could load the necessary three PC Card files from the
Autoexec and Config files at startup, but then necessary programs
would be loaded twice (first in DOS and then in Windows '95). Windows
'95 does allow one to create a special Batch and Config files to run
DOS programs.
Hope this may help you find a solution with your computer, Windows'95,
and {COMMO}.
Isn't {COMMO} a great program! No ??? here just !!!.
