My Windows for Workgroups 3.11 was more beautiful than yours, Ed.  :)

It showed the startup logo for a Commodore Amiga Workbench 2.0, and then
dispayed the OS/2 Warp 3.0 'Workplace Shell for Windows' (a live desktop,
similar to Win9x's).  The wallpaper was a hand-scan of my all-time
favourite t-shirt design of a space-cowboy 'Ronald Raygun', 6-gun style,
sporting a supposed quote "Peace through superior firepower".
