Hi! Ed, On Thu, 03 Oct 13, you wrote to me: EV> WFWG 3.11 probably does look better than my W3.1. Within the Win 3.xx versions, no, there isn't much difference. I tried installing it, a couple of times, into a vBox config but I couldn't get past first base. EV> And if I did use my .BAT file I wouldn't see the 'beautiful' EV> difference(s) anyway. Yes, it started that way. My multi-config (MS-DOS 5/6) Config.Sys & AutoExec.Bat had multiple bootups for running with or without WFWG. (BTW, for a short while I was running WFWG on MS-DOS 7.00 [Win95's DOS], till I found a way to break it.) EV> It looks like you 'modernized' your WFWG 3.11 by using the Amiga EV> image. I can't remember, was the Amiga Computer sold during the EV> period WFWG 3.11 was sold? Nice question. All I can recall was that we bought our 486DX33 & WFWG in early (Jan/Feb) 1994. I started the BBS in late '94 and made contact with the Amiga guy in early '95. He may have only just bought his as well, as it looked fairly new. I don't know for sure. Cheers, Paul. ...
