Ya know, all this talk about making the foucault test less subjective by
using a computer to reverse and combine images got me to thinking...when
the computer reverses the image and overlays it, it is turning the foucault
test into a wire test. For those who want to spend more time playing with
photons than electrons, why not build a wire tester?
I am not disparaging robo-foucault, just pointing out that even without
access to digital imaging devices and computers, one can remove some
subjective factors of the foucault test.
