It sounds to me as if you may not have the same version of the Dani
drivers loaded on you harddisk as on the install CD is that possible ?
I'd suggest you download the very latest Dani drivers from Hobbes and
install them to your system anyway, also check what parameters you have
set on DANIS506.
I have:
BASEDEV=DANIS506.ADD /A:1 /BM /U:0 /ATAPI /RMV /U:1 /ATAPI /RMV /V
However all these are related to my Optical drives as the SATA
controller is Unit (U:) 2 - you may want to use /V however so that the
driver displays what it finds.
My Danis506.add file is dated :
4/12/05 3:05 68646 0 DaniS506.ADD
And is in C\OS2\BOOT
This is an OS/2 Warp 4 CP2FP5 system, however eCS 1.2 works the same on
another partition.
(This system is running from a SATA HD connected to a noname PCI
controller with a Silicon Image SATA controller chip).
Cheers/2
