I confirm, i have the same problem on my external Supra with -22 beta code,
but i suppose that now is a major bug, because in the past i never noted it,
but today i've had my modem locked up two times, and both with a USR 
Sportster,
really dangerous for a BBS like mine board

two choices.......downgrade or a new beta as soon as possible ;-)))))))
