Greetings and felicitations Ted,
TC> After searching many back ups I finally located the program. It's
TC> rather long since it covers not only the com port info but a complete
TC> BBS door as well. It was orignally written in 1991 and was WC specific
TC> but can be easily altered to be compatible with door.sys and
TC> dorinfox.def. If you have Internet access, let me know your IN address
TC> and I'll have a friend send it to you. (I personally have never signed
TC> up for the Internet.)
This is where the fact that I can usually only get onto once every two weeks
becomes a real pain . You will receive another message from me which I
wrote sometime in the past couple. This message of yours which I am doing a
reply to immediately, has answered most of what I wrote in that.
The only inet access I have is for e-mail text messages via a fido gateway
nd
to be honest I don't know if a uue encoded message would actually get
hrough,
although you are very welcome to try. You'll find my e-mail address on some
of my messages in this echo.
TC> If you wish to freq it across the waves (it's only about 8K zipped)
TC> I'll provide you with a magic name.
Alas being a total pauper (why do you think I'm on a 286 ) I simply
couldn't afford to do this but thanks for the offer.
Well as I'm actually typing this while online (I usually download and deal
with my mail later), I'll sign off now. Thanks for all the effort you've
one
to Ted.
Byeee, Nigel.
