Well still nutting out problems with why I had carrier drops with the roadster 28.8
in windows 95 had to do port setting, go to control panel, select
system,device manager, ports  go to the port you are
using for your modem  select port settings bit set 38400  8
bit  parity none stop bit 1 flow control hardware  after setting these up
click 
to use 28.8 in qmodemint string set At&F^M...Suffix ^M ..Abort ^M
flow control must be ctr not xon/xoff
works fine with me.......updated from last message.
