OK,Kris,I am starting down here to clarify what I sais and what I 
replied to. Jimmy was the one who mentioned firewire and that was my 
reply to him. As far as the camers goes,I have mentioned in at least 
omne other post that I had connected and downloaded the comnetente of 
the SD card,to another install of ecs(1.2).But that install got blown 
away and I have a new install of 2CS 1.2 MR pluss updates applied by 
ecsnt. On the eaelier one,I did not even  have to use the refresh 
removanle drives oblect;just plugged the camera in,started the pc and 
turned the camera on. But this install doesnt sem to have the USBMON 
file running.See my reply to Harry Travis.
