You do realize you can turn that off, right?  Have you looked under
Options->Advanced in Ghostery's setup?  Did you know that you have to go
in and turn on all of the stuff you want blocked also?

Give Ghostery another try and look at the instructions; you might like it.

No-Script is actually not very effective at blocking your privacy. 
Ghostery blocks much more than just simple JavaScript stuff.
