FWIW, *I* moderate a couple of Fido echos, and allow uuencoded messages
as long as they are kept below the 200 line limit in size (in ONE file,
NOT continued!), and their use is minimal AND topical. For the last
couple of years now, it hasn't gotten out of hand, and I don't think
*anyone* has been inconvenienced by them. Just MY two cents worth.
