Inside your loop, either at the beginning or the end add the following 
statement:
application.processmessages;
This has nice affects on delphi 1.0 apps under 95, not sure how this command 
will behave under delphi 2.0, have not had time to try it yet.  I'm not sure 
this will even give you the results you are looking for.
