| subject: | Bink-Nt support echo ? |
Heather James wrote in a message to All: HJ> I haven't seen a lot of discussion of the Binkleyterm for NT HJ> beta, and rather than be off-topic, I was just wondering what echo I HJ> need to connect to to get info on that version of Bink. I use Bink HJ> 2.59C under DESQview when I run the system unbder DOS, but the 2.59c HJ> for NT doesn't answer the phone! Weird. Are you SURE that you have the SAME binkley.evt? I'd like to hear more people talking about the NT version of Bink - I'm setting up a hub system, a P-66 PCI machine, SCSI-II drive, 16 megs of RAM, and a 28.8 modem, with Bink-NT running in a window. Christ, it's amazing. It's like running Bink-DOS under Windows, except IT WORKS. If this keeps up, I may install Windows NT on my home box and be done with OS/2. Unfortunately, NT 4.0 has much higher memory requirements - I tried loading the 4.0 beta on the same machine, and it was a slug. --- timEd/2 1.10+* Origin: realitycheckBBS - San Francisco, CA +1 415 666 0339 (1:161/418) SEEN-BY: 50/99 78/0 157/534 620/243 622/419 623/630 626/660 667 668 633/2 SEEN-BY: 640/820 711/401 409 410 413 416 430 431 501 808 809 934 955 712/515 SEEN-BY: 713/888 714/906 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 161/418 84 55 270/101 396/1 157/110 534 626/660 711/401 808 809 934 |
