Putin is looking after Russia's interests period. He couldn't give a
monkey's about the US at the moment as there's lots of cash pouring in from
oil etc & he's more interested in his big neighbors (PRC,EU,India)

Look at when the US tries to say something about him getting rid of
directly elected governors. Putin's response is to tell the US to go shove
it's head up it's ass.

He's got lots of oil, lots of nukes & frankly things are going his way.

He is going to get shirty if you lot don't start thinking about leaving the
FSU Central Asian countries now that Afghanistan is done.
