FWIW, I have been using the 10.145 drivers to access a SP-500UZ (1G xD
card) without problems (Fat16 access). I can use Netdrive to mount it as
a fat32 drive. But I have never seen long file names on the disk.
Perhaps something is interfering with the drivers and the camera.
It is also possible that my camera works better with the drivers than
yours. But that seems more of a long shot to me.
I wish I had a clever suggestion.
