Oh, I know....  The other aspect, of course, is that one tends to know
mostly about things one is actually using... and if one doesn't know
what something is for it's unlikely that they begin to use it.  Not too
many people even know what a bbs is nowadays... even some of my family,
to whom I've been talking about my bbs'ing for years, somehow can't
remember what I'm talking about and I have to explain it just about
every time...  oh, well...
