My wider range didn't include "Debbie does Dallas" or it's ilk.

As for the disclaimer the viewer does bear some responsibility in what he
or she chooses to view. All they have to do is check the ratings.

I'm not sure what you mean by tax dollars. I wasn't focusing on PBS.

Actually there have been rumblings in the past few months by the FCC about
examining and controlling the content of cable broadcasts. I suspect they
are not enamored of Deadwood's Al Swearington.
