I don't blame you. I'd be feeling the same way.

WB> I have one here but I had to buy craft batting to make the inside

Pillows and footstool covers are finished. Today I'm putting
the binding around her six placemats then on with the wedding
flowers.

WB> That sounds so neat, it's great when they want you to do something
WB> for this most important occasion in their lives. It will make
WB> their day so much more special knowing you did those flowers.

I'll let you know how they turn out. I'm a bit nervous about doing them
I want everything to be perfect.

WB> My husband bought some neat stuff called "Acrylic Water" that you
WB> can use to keep silk flowers in place in a vase. You mix these
WB> 2 components together like you do epoxy glue, and pour them into
WB> the vase, and it hardens to a hard gel and keeps the flowers from
WB> moving after you've got them in place. I haven't opened it to
WB> use any yet but I plan to do a couple of arrangements of handmade
WB> artificial flowers, one of crepe paper poppies for my sister's
WB> 40th birthday which is in July. She's very special and I know
 WB> she'll like that!
 WB>
I've never heard of this product before.

WB> We aren't messy, just creative like the tagline says!
 WB>
WB> Rubber stamping is fun but it can get expensive since it's addictive
WB> and buying stamps is part of the addiction. Once you get a few,
WB> you always want a lot more, and that gets expensive. I can
WB> lay out the bucks for stamps, but I'd rather not get so many that
 WB> I forget what I have. I do need a few more that aren't bear-oriented,
WB> as most of mine have bears on them, and I'd love some more with
WB> messages on them. I have "Happy Birthday" but I'd like a nice one
WB> that reads "Thinking of You," one for anniversaries and one that
WB> just says "Congratulations" which could be used for various things
WB> such as graduation, new baby, promotions, etc. I could also get
WB> into a nice "Handstamped By..." stamp. I saw one yesterday but it
WB> was very small and they wanted almost 7 dollars for it! Gosh!!!
WB> In the catalog those are only about 3 to 4 dollars. I could get
WB> 2 for that price! See what I mean, though? It all adds up.
 WB>
I couldn't afford that expense right now but it sounds good. The
idea of making my own cards sounds intreging.

WB> Have fun with the floral arrangements and let me know how you are
WB> doing. Have a great day!
 WB>
I will.

Hugs
Diane
